Just moved flat and the Valliant Turbo max boiler would fire up for a short time then go off. Had a plumber round who filled up the boiler and it worked, however the next day same thing, no water pressure so I have to keep filling it up for it to work - any suggestions for a solution

if you are loosing water pressure and have to refill system you must have a water leak on central heating system

I would check outside first, to see if the pressure relief valve is dripping outside. looks like you got a "LEAK" somewhere anyways.
