My hot water causes problems in the shower, which has a mixer tap. The temperature is fine, then goes cold, then goes hot again in a perpetual cycle, about every 3 minutes. The Central heating is always fine. I suspected water pressure problems, or heat exchanger issues, but have had a service and was told there are no problems with either. Strangely enough I bought a new shower head, which sorted the issue for a few months. PLEASE help?

my boiler wasnt supplying hot water.A new micro switch was fitted,and it worked perfectly for 3hrs then it reverted to the old problem,the next step maybe the diverter valve,unless you have another solution.

Had this on a Artisan mixer shower fed from a 24CDi combi. It was actually the inside of the shower housing that had a slight burr, which made the thermostatic valve stick or move slowly. Removed cleaned and refitted, no problems since.
