How do I clear the total sales figures on my Sharp ER-a320 cash register?

I would like to be able to clear the totals on my cash register but a running total still shows up after a Z-2. Any ideas if this can even be done on a Sharp ER-A320?

The register x and z reports only report up to $99999.99. After that it resets the report line to 00000.00. Seems to be just as good.

There is no way, short of doing a Master Reset and completely reprograming the register, that I know of to reset the Grand Total that prints on the report. However, it is possible to NOT PRINT that figure on the reports. To do this you will need a Service key or you will need to take the register to a dealer to have it done. The procedure is as follows:

1) Insert the Service key and turn it to the SRV1 position (one click counterclockwise past the PGM position).
2) Enter 908, press the decimal key, then the AT/FOR key.
3) Enter 7000, press the CA/AT key.

Hi. did you make sure you included the decimal point when you called up the report?
