My creda contour hob rings are dying. ?

When i got my current cooker a year or two ago one ring was dead. (front right) Switch it on and absolutely nothing happens.
Now, having worked fine the fast ring has died. It was on at the time and on full power at that, very hot. I fear the element has burnt out.
Anyone know if it's possible to get the two rings replaced.
Also the trips the household fuses if you have it on full (4) but is fine on 3 1/2 which is a bit of a pain.
Other than being glad the cooker hasn't burnt our house down yet can anyone tell me if I can get the rings replaced, if the parts are available (for replacing them myself) and if there's likely to be a simple solution to the problem with the grill.
Other than a slippy knob the rest of the fan oven (and the smaller elecy half oven where the grill is) and other two rings work fine.

thanks

you will probably find it is the switch and not the element.Type TYJ6219 Sunvic Simmerstat 200/250v only

There should be a sticker with the model number.

Open the oven door, and look on the panels on the front of the cooker. Try near the bottom.

Okay, i found another question which says:

"I need to replace a faulty halogen ring on a Creda Contour Solarglo, but can't see how to remove the the ceramic hob.
- you have to remove the end caps from the cotrol panel ,the control panel glass,& the two side panels of the cooker to get to the screws securing the hob, there will be two or three screws at the back of the hob, then the whole unit will lift clear
some have a plug and socket to disconnect the whole thing.
then turn it upside down to remove the faulty ring"

So it sounds do-able...

HOWEVER i now need to work out what model number a creda contour solarglo is so i can find out if anyone sells the halogen rings (fast ring and standard ring have died). Any clues how to identify the parts I need to get much appreciated as it looks like a couple of hundred quids worth of parts so I want to get this right!
