need help unlocking SanDisk 2gb micro SD?

I have a 2gb SanDisk Micro SD and when I open it on the computer it says BlackBerry. When I try to transfer music or pictures to it it says it is protected and needs to be unlocked. How do I do this? Please help going insane.

Check on the side of the Sd Drive if the lock is switched to unlock

update I put the chip in my phone and formatted it and now it doesn't say blackberry but still won't work. Still write protected.
