Cannon Chester Cooker Keeps Clicking?

We have a Cannon Chester gas oven and when the bottom (main) over is on it continuously clicks. It lights up fine and stays lit, but it just has this annoying clicking sound. I have been told it may be the spark ignition. If so how would I go about replacing that? Thanks

This clicking is due to the failure of the spark generator. It's an easy thing to replace but as you have to disconnect the gas pipe bayonet fitting at the rear of the cooker to get to it you should leave it to someone professional. Canon (actually Indesit these days) will come out and replace it but it will cost £100.00 plus.
