Need help installing lid. I have removed lid several times to remove foriegn objects from macerator but will not reinstall.
Ordered new seal but still have problem and cant understand what has changed.

The lid seal fits into the lid and not on to the box so when installing the lid fit the seal into the lid with a small amount of ffairy liquid around the outside of the seal and then fit on to the bos pushing down quite hard to locate the lid on the lugs I have had to vrtualy stand on a lid before now.
