engine revin high on corsa 1994 1.2?

i have got a vauxhall corsa 1.2 1994 ond the engine revs very high
i have changed the throttle senor and the idle control but is still the same

Using supermarket petrol? My 1995 Corsa 1.2 did the same.

I switched to Texaco, Shell, BP and Total and the problem disappeared.

Never used supermarket petrol in it again, and the problem never came back.
