Peugeot Speedfight Prost 100cc. Hard to start. Wont Rev out?

Hi, can someone help please. I have a new spark plug, battery fully charged. Hard to start. When it does it idols ok, then I try to accelerate and it dies. Then its very hard to start again. Any answers would be great.\

Hi again. I drained the fuel, cleaned the carbs. Jets float etc seemed all ok no blockages. Cleaned the spark plug. Its new. Tried to start but no good. It tries to run for a few seconds. Sometimes it will idol for about 30 seconds. Any ideas?

Yes if it has been standing around. water could still get in carbs even if standing via condensation.
Strip carb down and put new petrol in tank

Hi, no wet weather where I live. Very dry. I bought the bike from a guy who said it had been sitting for a month while overseas. Do you think its the carbs?

When did it start during wet weather and snow we have been having.
more than likely water in carb. Drain fuel from it and see if it makes differance. You will have to get it out manually or it will sit there
