shower wont turn on even thought power is going to it .checked all connections nothing loose .could it b the the solenoid, is there a way to check them .

solenoid coil can be checked by using an ohmmeter
If there is no reading on the ohmeter then the solenoid coil is open circuit and the solenoid valve will need replacement
a decent multimeter for checking this out can be had for about £6 from the electronics shop
