Shower pressure and temperature changes?

The water pressure and or temperature of the water in my shower changes completely unexpectedly and with no other water demands going on in the house. Is this problem easy to check or should I call a plumber. It is a prefabricated shower stall and although I just moved into this house about 6 months ago the shower seemed to be working fine for the first 3 months we lived here. The second shower in the house does not have this problem

you say the pressure changes unexpectedly, ifan electric shower this will cause the temperature changes. worth trying to operate the shower on the cold setting to see what water flow comes out of the shower handset. if when flow control is set to max cold the water flow is at best very low (say 3 litres per minute)then you may have a blocked handset esp if in a hard water area..
remove the handset and run the showerhose to drain, does this improve the water flow/temperature. if not advise to seek advice/visit from an electrician
