texecom premier 48 wont disarm with code?

I have installed a premier 48 panel but unable to disarm with a code, sets ok with code set as standard type, but once entry timer has started keypad display says "Sorry use tag". I have disabled En option and changed grade 3 to 2 with local arm and disarm on code option. System is bells only so just want to use codes. Grateful of any suggestions.

The easiest way is:-

1) Engineers Code
2) 6 (system outputs) Yes
3) 6 (custom outputs) Yes
4) 0, 5 ( custom output 2 5 full armed entry)
5) No 0 Yes (not used)

Its ok I have sussed it out now, but now I have another problem. The alarm wont allow me to change a user code using a double number ie 1223. it there anyway of enabling this.

Sorry I have the same problem and cant find any reference to the c timers in the install manual. Paul is it possible to clarify where I have to go in the menu to change this option. Didnt want to phone you as this is a month later. Thank you

The panel is set as default for DD243 Specification meaning that it requires a fob to disarm system - call me on 07962 342081 and i'll guide you through how disable this feature

Hi Dave,

I'm having the same problem. Can you tell me exactly which option in the menus you changed to remove the need to use proximity tags?

Thanks

Contacted Texecom Tech help, code was locked by timer C. removed option in code menu and system disarmed with code.

Did either of you get to the bottom of this problem. I've just installed my 48 and have the same problem.

Many Thanks

Definitely a programming problem - I've had it myself.

Are you trying to use a 4-figure code? You might need a 6-figure code.

I suggest you default the panel and reprogramme it.

when you got the panel did it not come with any black and white tags ?
