My brand new Indesit washer dryer WIDL 146 makes the clothes WETTER in the drying cycle. Any ideas?

Mine too, when i set it to 7, it's supposed to launch into a drying cycle but it insteads starts WASHING the clothes. I've tried all the other settings and the machine seems to not obey any of the programs. I've read the manual too but it's no help.
