hi can u help me , i have a renault megane coupe 55plate and when i put keycard in it wont start it says on dash, card not detected i changed battery inside card but still dosnt work.

I had the same problem..same year as well. The card reader (not the card) behind the plastic panel has unclipped itself and dropped down. Use a screw driver to pop the panel open and clip the card reader back in place (I had to glue mine in with superglue). Typical french vehicle...everything falls off after a year.

it probably needs new battery. small round flat one inside card
