Can you get your key repaired by someone who is good with electronics, a local TV repairman fixed my Vauxhall key ( broken soldered joint) for a few pounds.
If that's no good, it would be easier and cheaper to get a new key. Dont buy an old one off ebay etc., as I dont think they can be re-programmed to your car. Go to an auto locksmith.
Another option is to download the small program from
http://www.bba-reman.com/content.aspx?content=Test_for_Renault_Key_Immobiliser_failures_emergency_recode
called 'Renault key/immobiliser test kit', from which you can get your immo bypass code. This is just a temporary fix, as you have to re-enter the code every time the engine is off for more than five minutes.
Just re-read your post and realised you say you cant open the car, doesnt the key work in the doorlock?
