x9 250 Piaggio?

Hello all
I have the above scooter Piaggio x9 250
Alas during the wet weather water has got in the to electrics, it was kept outside no garage. The bike starts ok and runs but there are a few problems. The Clocks including temp gauge and fuel gauge are not working. The speedo reads 99999 miles when in fact it is about 20k. Also the hazard lights come on for no reason what so ever, which is kind of annoying when you ride it. Can these be disconnected once and for all.
Can anyone help me as I am guessing I have water in elctircs and dont know how to get it out, also how can I reset the miles
Many thanks everyone

The problem is water has got into the LCD dash no easy fix it needs to be replaced one Philips screw and two Allen pins and three plugs in the rear . It's difficult to by second hand as every one has the same problem. Sorry about the bad news also you need the dash from a 250cc the 125cc and the 500cc fit but they they are different electrics the other advise you have been given is incorrect . All the very best fitz

have you tried disconnecting the battery?its is under the rear panel above the rear light.this may reset the clock also there is a reset button for the service light try holding that in before you turn it on and then turn the ignition on and hold the button in for 5 seconds it may help with the mileage problem,i think the hazard relay is part of the indicator circuit so if you disconnect it i dont think your indicators will work but try it it wont hurt it the relays are under the front panel.its grey or yellow and square.
