how can i fix my altenator?

the altenator belt slips on my ford fiesta. where is the altenator and how do i fix it?

Hi there first your belt needs tightening to stop it slipping, to do this slacken off the fixing bolts ant tensioner move alternator away from the engine till you get about 1/2 inch of free play then re tighten up the nuts and bolts while keeping the tension on, you should find the alternater at the side of the engine or the front, it is not worth trying to fix it you would be better off getting a replacement one or if you are a bit short of cash try your car salvage yard good luck.
