is it possible to turn my maintance light off on my audi 3, 2008 reg i have just done a service

before switching on ignition, press and hold mileage trip button then switch on ignition ( still keep button pressed) and watch display count down from 10 to 0, then switch off ignition, then switch on again and start engine. this procedure works with a lot of makes of cars.
