why does my nrg go faster with original variator?

i got a 04 nrg mc3 and recently put a mallosi multivar variator init with a kevlar belt and the 7.2 rollers it comes with and also tried the 5 gram rollers i used to have and it only does 40 on flat when it used to go bout 50-55 with standard parts it got leo vince TT that is very loud how do i make it quite (when my friend got these parts in his 05 nrg power DD it made his faster pushing 61 on flat and 70 down hills with a chrome zx pipe he had to tuck in though) plz help

ok as a rule these do ok with a pipe and a set of 5 gram rollers but if the torque driver spring on the clutch is too strong(been upgraded) then the rollers fight against it and lose !so the rollers need to be heavier.basically the rollers havent got enough weight to push the belt out to the edge of the variator as the pulley on the clutch is keeping them from moving and gearing the bikes transmisson up.i would try putting your standard rollers back in but only use 4 of them and arrange them so they are still in a sort of square in the variator.try it and see how it goes if its ok then leave it like it it wont hurt it at all.
