try changing the fuel filter first if that doesnt fix it then, more than likely the scv (suction control valve) on the fuel pump could be at fault.

Could have low compression in your cylinder, maby your piston rings are worn out and broke, or maby your exhaust or inlet valves are stuck open, if they are it would mean the return spring inside the valve spring is nakerd,, being a deisel you could have a faulty Ecu sending in Wrong amounts of fuel and air. cam timing might be out, lots of things
