rev counter goes off when hot, escort 1995?

When the dashboard is warm my rev counter goes to zero. by banging on the dashboard it sometimes comes back but the airbag light comes on. please help.

Could be just a loose wire.

you could have a faulty Ecu or engine manigment, it also could be that the fuses are damadged or broke
