i replaced w/new rod,put piston at top/d/c and put cam back in w/line macthed to small in crankshaft gear now it won't start ,any spec. on how to line up the to gears.tecomseh 7h.p.snow blower eng.
There will be a dot on the crank and a dot on the cam shaft gear, check the valves are rocking on TDC non firing stroke, this will tell you if the valve timing is correct
