at the back of your oven is a cover held on by4 screws remove it to expose a round oven element this has failed , to fit new one remove old element held in with one screw at top pull element out carefull pull of the 2 wires with spade connectors bend them over so as not to loose them or you will have to take back of oven, you can buy new element on e bay or local shop all the hotpoint creda elements are the same aprox £18 easy to replace good luck
