How can I fix my Hotpoint Mistral Plus?

The Freezer compartment gets warm when the freezer is full and if I switch it of for a couple of hours it starts to operate ok

See answer for other hotpoint fridge freezer on same page, you need to defrost the core, at least twelve hours switched off ,doors wide open at room temperature.
