How do you change the oil on a Murray Riding Lawn Mower?

The oil has never been changed. How do I change it?
Donna Crump, February 2010
It realy depends on what engine is fitted, it will either have a drain plug, or a drain tube from the side of the engine ( usually non carb side ) remove the screw or sqare plug and drain the oil, if it has a cartridge oil filter on the side of the engine this will have to be unscrewed and replaced, Briggs and Stratton engines usually take a straight SAE30 in the engine, Hondas and Kawasakis usually take a SAE10 30 multi grade oil
