How do I find out whether I need a 70, 100 or 120 alternator on my Vectra?
I need to replace the alternator on our Vectra (S reg) 2.0 ecotec CDi petrol but I can't find in the manual which one I need to buy - anyone help me please?
What he ment was, you need to undo the belt tensioner so its slack and will come off, remove bolts holding it in place and remove from engine, if you want to know wich alternator go in to a vauxhall dealership

alternator will have a i.d tag on it
remove old alternator take to motor factors (cheaper than main agents) they will identify it and give you a like for like replacement i e 70/70 ,100/100 etc
