Only a guess when I had a mondeo and problem with driver door I took out the fuse and could still unlock all doors and boot but had to manually lock all doors.
BUT before removing the fuse make sure you open the driverside window incase it locks you out, or both window and prop the door open then try the boot lock wth the auto lock disengaged. If it opens the boot it could be a faulty solinoid.
