Alba D31H HD Pocket Camcorder - Black that dosnt work when i turn it on it comes up with the screen saver thing but i will not record andything and it will just go pitch black i have only just got this and it was £80 and it was a christmass presant i cant afford to get new one if you know how to fix it please tell me thank you

to get any joy out of the place of purchase you need either the receipt or a Bank/credit/debit card statement showing the transaction. Statements can be downloaded /printed if purchaser has on-line banking. If you have the receipt then get a refund or replacement. Any trouble go to www.direct.gov.uk enter in the search site box top right ' sale of goods act ' click on Consumer rights and where to get help scroll down to see various of what you can do in returning faulty items.

Hi Cannot help with what to do as repair but I have one that I have just got from argos, I do know that it has a 2year g/tee so take it back and get a new one. I would think you could also get onto alba to about this.
