flashing oil light on my gpz 750 kawasaki?

oil light flashes all the time oil level fine no knocks from engine bike stood for 18 months

are you sure its the oil light and not a warning light for the side stand or something,the oil light doesnt usually have a relay built into it and will come on solid and stay on if theres an issue with the oil pressure and not flash on and off like you say.

Have you Changed you oil and filter. I would change it anyway. see if it makes a differance the old oil will not do your engine any good.
