vauxhall vivaro 2004 no throttle response?

From cold it idles fine but revs slowly it will gradually build up after about 10 seconds then gets to 3000rpm then its flat and will not rev no higher. It has been on a diagonstic machine n had a new egr valve 3 other faults were maf sensor,pre-heater circuit & temp sensor circit.I have checked the maf sensor on live data n the readings are not to far out,i have replaced the fuel filter n there is no sign of any swarf its all clean, the only thing im not sure of is where the temp sensor is n what it does, the van is a 2004 vivaro 1900DI (2700) with 70k on the clock , cheers

I had the same. EGR/MAF/etc error codes, changed them all (several times). A garage eventually stumbled on th efact that the boost solenoid valve had corroded. no error code for that and it hasn't done it since that part was replaced.

did anyone work out what solved this problem as i am now having the same problem! also where is the accelerator sensor? can it be bypassed for testing?

I have so far replaced the Turbo, mass air flow meter, oil, fuel and air filter. Fixed a snapped pin within the body control module. cleaned the egr all moving freely now.

Its not mis firing at all, starts every time just no throttle. Was driving and the glow plug light was coming on when it was warmed up and goes into limp mode. This problem is driving me nuts!

Broke down just by a drive vauxhall took it in there in limp mode, explained I was desperate, dog in the van with no way of getting home they replied "well we may be able to fit it in late tomorrow" so they wouldnt even come and have a quick look! any help would be very much appreciated.

can someone explain this
my 2004 vivaro ignition lights/engine glow light came on and the engine cut out, i had to drop the clutch and release it and the engine started again - this happened 4 times on a 2 hr drive - the vehicle was parked up for two days now runs without any issues !! can anyone tell me what this could be and what would cause this problem ??

having same problem on a 2006 model ,changed the "egr" valve cleaned complete fuel system ,exchanged accelerater pedal ,now noticed the boost valve is rattling when the ignition is turned on
