this problem has now resolved its self, i do not know how, only that we went to my sons last evening, when we came out my husband just pointed the key at the car, and bingo it worked. he has done this every time since we have used the car since we have had it. this is the first time it has worked.my son said that it missed him, as he was the last owner (joking) Dont give up if anyone else has the same problem, it could happen to you.
