vacuum wont start?

been using dyson to pick up fine dust. Vacuum just stopped running. Motor won't start. DEAD
how do I check to see if motor burned up? If it did, is there a manual on how to replace motor?

you will know if it is the motor if there is a bad smell from the filter if not then the thermal cut out has operated and it will auto reset after the machine cools down, if that happins then check the filters are clean

The motor might be contaminated and jammed up with the fine dust - the best way to find out is to inspect it.

Dysonmedic.com shows how to strip down to the motor for some models.

Good luck...
