do the brake lights work front and back?the oil light comes on a a test light thats normal.its to say the bulb hasnt gone in case you rely on it to tell you the oil is low.when you press the button with a brake pulled in do you get any clicking sound coming from near the battery?thats where the starter relay is.and as bb says is the battery good and charged up?
