How can I find what kind of phone it is?

I have a Samsung phone and the screen showes up white and I called the store and they wanted to know what model the phone is, which I have no clue because I bought it last year.

Hi look under the battery and there should be a sticker and this will tell you the model

Take off the back. Most likely inside around the battery area there will be a label.
