why only a few people reply?

I must have answered more questions on this forum than anyone trying to help people sort their problems out on their scooters or motorcycles but only three people have ever replied and said thanks for the help?why is this is it that they do not read the answers i give them, if so why bother posting the question! or is it that they are too rude to simply give a simple thanks for the help ?i work as a bike mechanic and pretty well know most answers to the questions you all post and will not ever give out bad solutions to the questions all i want to do is help you all and get a little thanks for it so please bear that it mind in the future please.

im new to this and share your point of view, only had one reply mself .tough not having ur diagnossis confirmed but lets face it mechs are like dentists nobody comes to see us for fun .if i had a pound for every one of them that swore blind that they never tried to fix it themselves including the one that had put his superdream carbs back on upside down and swore it was running yesterday,id have a lot more money than now.
