the button to the electric window is not recieving any power, i found this out with mine and had the very same problem, what i did before i replaced the switch was pulled off the panel by the gear stick and pressed the wires into the switch while pressing the switch, the light returned to the switch, which obviously could see the connection was now there, the window closed, you may find you have to do this almost everytime u want ur window open, best thing do is replace the switch
