Cordon Bleu Gas Cooker?

I saw someone was breaking up an old Cordon Bleu cooker, I have just inherited one in working order, but the metal caps on the burners are rusted through. I have a old Cordon Bleu double oven, both piolet lights come on but the ovens will not ingnite to get hot, and ideas how to fix this problem it happened once before and rectified it self in time, but now am impatient.
