How can i fix my John Deere Model 108 Riding Mower?

The belt that goes from the engine to the blade keeps coming off as soon as I engage the blade. I replaced the belt, but it didnt help. How do I know what is wrong?

Check for a bent pulley. It doesn't take much of a bend to throw a belt.
