Water in footwell?

I have a 2002 Honda CRV and have a problem with water in the footwell of the drivers side of car. This has been in the garage three times and they have checked seals etc to no avail it is a puzzel where this water is coming from

Hi I have just had water in the drivers footwell when it was just raining. I found the problem which cn be sorted by removing the front offside wheel (drivers side) and the plastic inner wing which about 5 various screws and clips. Look up towards the drivers door and you will see the bonnet release cable. Check the rubber grommet which goes through to the cab. Mine was split and water was running down the outside of the cable and into the cab, soaking the drivers floor

check membrane between door and door trim panel, if not fully intact and stuck to door it will allow water to enter through wrong side of door seal.
