how to arrange the fabric around the gears handle?
Just bought a Xsara Picasso 2.0.HDI from 2001 but the fabric around the gears handle is a bit scruffy. Does anyone have any idea of what is the best fabric to use and what's the best way to replace it?

remove the cover, unpick the stitching and use it as a pattern, lay it flat on a piece of coloured leather/material of your choice and make a new one, or give it to someone who can sew.
