i am having problems getting my 96 p reg vauxhall vectra 1.6 16v to start it was starting before the cold weather came but hasnt been run for month or so before and after
Ive
Checked spark plugs,
checked leads,
checked battery ,
checked water,
checked oil,
to water in head no oil in head,
Plenty of fuel goes to start but no revs with foot to the floor just sounds like a tractor and then dies.

sounds like not enough fuel is getting though.. please advise on next few steps

i have a corsa b no spark at plugs i have changed coil and app and rotor arm on and disp cap

From what you have said it seems that you have a fuel shortage you need to investigate further.

no not damp just tried it again it wants to start but seems to lack any power to get there if that makes sense

Is there any sign of fuel on the spark plugs?
Turn the engine over and take out a plug and see if it is damp with fuel.
