hi i need to turn off the light that highlights the word SERVICE i have reset the mileometer back to 18,000 miles but still SERVICE is still highlighted, can anybody help please?

two options. Go to renault (or other garage) and ask them to reset it. This usually is done by effectively "shorting" two connections on the diagnostic plug.
The other.
Find the bulb and pull it out!
It is important to know why the service light is on. ON my old '05 corsa the service light came on just before the ECU packed up...
