dishwasher wont compleat its program (drain pump, heating element ok)?

My Zanussi 4554s Dishwasher wont compleat is program no matter what setting. It does heat the water and if you force a program to stop a select another program it will drain the water with no problems.Do you think the pcb has gone

It's possible the pcb has gone but by no means conclusive as everything attached to the board can stop the process in its tracks if it reports a fault!.Not an easy one to diagnose on here without proper testing
