I hear so many people being charged for replacement micro switches on tailgate this is a design fault jenny from nissan customer services admitted this on 03 &to 06 models they are not sealed (switch now redesigned ) and my dealer replace foc, so just keep up a fuss and argue they will do it!!! failing this just say you was going to buy a new nissan for the wife but are thinking of going to ford instead i did.. push,push and push harder till you get your way.
