my lawn mower stopped working mid way through cutting, and yes there is loads of pretrol in the mower. I tried to pull the draw string to start this but this only pulls out now approx 30cm and thats it, so i am unable to start this - please advice what i need to do to fix this.

Yes, there is a micro switch operated by the deadmans handle.
You need to remove the two top covers to see it.
If you operate the handle and listen carefully you can hear it click.

No switch, but make sure the OPC (deadmans handle) is pulled in. Engine will be hard to turn, and won't start if not.
Prime 5 times, pull OPC in, pull rope. 3 pulls max, or there is a problem.
