Craftsman 5.5hp push mover still makes Noise!?

Blade is tight. Could the Noise be from to much oil or not enough?

Took blade off, nubs do look worn.Ordered part, will put on next week. Thanks

Oil condition wouldn't make the noise you described.
I'd still like to see you take that blade off and look at the adapter. It will have two nubs on it that I'll bet are sheared off. The bolt will still hold the blade tight. But at engine speed it can jar back and forth and cause what you describe.
To be safe take the blade off and check it.
