Replacing Solenoid Fill Valve On Hoover (Nextra 6, HNWL 7166)?

For the record... I have a Hoover Nextra 6 washer dryer that developed a problem where it continued to fill with water even when switched off. The solution was to replace the faulty solenoid triple valve (Hoover part#: 41013616).

This was a straight forward D.I.Y job. The 3-way valve is connected directly to the cold water inlet pipe. Don't forget to shut off the power / water supply (!) and label the (6) connectors so that they go back in the right place. I ordered my replacement part from http://www.apart4u.co.uk/; I placed the order on Monday at 1pm and it was delivered by first class post on Thursday.

I don't need any help (thanks) - I've posted this so that others with the same problem can benefit.

Ditto!
Hoping this is the solution to the machine not filling with water. All filters are clean as per instruction manual. Water supply and hose is all good. Power supply is fine. Spin and drying cycles work fine but not wash cycles.

FIRST - TURN OFF WATER SUPPLY AND UNPLUG FROM THE MAINS ELECTRICITY!!
Also have a cloth and a bucket handy.

Unscrew cold water hose from back of machine (there should only be a few drops of water doing this) place end of hose in the bucket.

Removed top cover - 3 screws under top lip at back need to be undone with long nosed pliers. Top cover then slides out. Remove similar screws from small back panel to gain access from rear.

Wires - first label all wires on the triple solenoid valve where the inlet pipe enters the back of the machine. Then the wires just pull off (with some force!)
Carefully position all wires so they won't catch on the solenoid valve when you remove it.

Use a small phillips screwdriver to press in the white plastic retaining stubs on the left and right of the inlet pipe on the outside surface of the back of the machine, while at the same time turning the whole solenoid valve 90 degrees to align for release (tricky but can be done on your own!)

You should now be able to lift the solenoid valve a little way out of the machine.

Hoses - Use pliers to pinch the hose retaining clips on the 3 black hoses attached to the solenoid valve and slide the clips down an inch or two. Now wriggle the hoses free from the solenoid valve (again needs some brute force!)

Voila! One triple solenoid valve removed. Pat yourself on the back and have a lie down :)

I'm assuming fitting one is just the reverse of the above. I don't know yet as mine is still on order.

I'll let you know if it fixes the problem.

This is more of a further question than an answer. I have had the same problem and have replaced the defective 41013616 3-way valve. Now although the machine a Hoover Nextra 6 seems to work ok on the wash cycle on the drying function the clothes come out still hand wet but not dripping wet (the heater is working ok). I wonder if I have either got the wires connected wrongly although I did disconnect them from the original valve a pair at a time and thought I had put like with like or have I got the hoses wrongly connected with one that is meant for the condensor going to the drawer and vice versa, thus water being admitted to the drum instead and wetting the clothes which shoudl be dried? Has anyone a drawing or a colour code of what goes to what as regards the wires or the hoses please? BTW I work in electronics and have a DVM at home for voltage and continuity tests if required
