I've had this camera for 18 months and it's suddenly done something very odd. It works just fine but the screen is now black every time I try to take a photo. It's just as if there is a lens cap on (there isn't). Everything else works just fine, I can view old images but as the screen is black, I can't take any more. Please help!!!

Sounds as if you have accidentally turned off image review in the menu.. ususally under the playback directory.. check that out .. if the screen works with other functions then it should review photos as taken..
