seems a bit of an affiliate type plugging type answer that one below vvvvvvv. However, he/she is right in saying get a registered gas installer.
Many will say no you dont need to and its because, your not touching gas carrying part and changing a pcb is like putting the shapes through the same shape hole. it really is a piece of p*ss as each connectors unique.
However, your also changing the brain of the boiler and are not trained/knowledgeable on how to ensure its working safely afterwards, thats the point to bare in mind.
