my boiler performa 28i heats the water in the radiators ok but the water runs cold in the hot tap very quickly it doesn`t stay hot long enough to have a bath or shower why is this

Make sure heating water is circulating through coil in copper cylinder. 2 x 1" connections one above the other on the side. If a gate valve is fitted make sure its open quarter way. Also check that circulating pump isn't running constantly when heating is switched off. This will circulate cool water through the hot cylinder.
